Process Engineer with Piping Expertise - Woodlands
The Process Engineer with Piping Expertise is responsible for designing, implementing, and
maintaining piping systems in various industries such as water & wastewater, petrochemical,and manufacturing. This role requires a deep understanding of process engineering principles,
piping design, and industry standards to ensure efficient and safe operations
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
o Create technical specifications for piping materials & components
o Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create P&ID and able to use
Naviswork.
o Drawings submission until IFC.
o Updating drawings.
o Preparation of valve datasheets.
o Review the Civil input drawings vs CBP, Floor openings and Archi walls opening.
o Ensure Tie-ins are correct.
Project/Construction Management:
o Coordinate designs with project/construction teams to ensure project deadlines
and standards are met.
o Review and approve vendor drawings and technical documentation.
o Prepare and present technical reports and documentation.
Technical Support:
o Provide technical support and solutions for constructions and PM.
o Raise PR for the piping systems.
o Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Collaboration:
o Work closely with other engineers and professionals in multidisciplinary teams.
o Communicate with clients, vendors and stakeholders to understand their needs
and explain complex issues.
