Sourcing Engineer - Bukit Batok

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate effectively with the Sourcing Manager to source and identify suppliers of direct materials and project contractors.
• Conduct request for information, quotation, proposal (RFI/Q/P) and bidding processes.
• Negotiate with suppliers to ensure adherence to quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• In-charge of supplier creation and maintaining the Approved Vendor List (AVL).
• Assist the Sourcing Manager with strategic sourcing tasks, including spending analytics to identify potential savings and coordinating and liaising with vendors for information and pricing comparisons.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as quality assurance, engineering, operations, and marketing to ensure timely qualification of components/parts.
• Undertake additional tasks as needed.

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering with minimum 2 years of experiences in sourcing.
• Able to interpret technical drawings.
• Familiar with manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Experience in the sourcing/procuring mechanical and/or electro-mechanical components.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese (verbal and written) to liaise with factory in China and suppliers.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
