Associate Director, New business and Special Project - Bukit Batok

Job Summary:

The Associate Director will drive special projects, forge strategic partnerships, and contribute to the company’s growth in rapidly evolving field of cell therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee special projects from ideation to execution, including feasibility studies, pilot programs, and collaborations, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the healthcare sector, with a focus on cell therapy applications, market trends, and emerging technologies.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, biotech firms, research institutions, and government bodies across China and Southeast Asia region.
• Regularly travel to China and Southeast Asia (approximately 40-50% of the time) to meet partners, attend industry events, and oversee project implementation.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project progress, market insights, and business development outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in business development, project management, or a related role within healthcare industry or relevant industry.
• Proven track record of identifying and launching new business initiatives, ideally in cell therapy.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare and biotech landscape in Asia, particularly in China and Southeast Asia.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• We seek Mandarin-speaking candidates who are required to serve Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently across China and South East Asia region.
• Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for innovation in healthcare.
