Role Overview

As the Account Manager / Project Manager, you will have a dual focus:

  1. Account Management – Building and maintaining strong client relationships,
understanding their goals, and growing accounts.
  1. Project Management – Working with creative and production teams to ensure on-time,

on-budget content delivery.

You will work very closely with the Account Director to proactively support key client needs,

identify opportunities, and ensure smooth project execution.

We value someone who is extremely proactive — anticipating needs before they’re asked, communicating clearly, and keeping all project details organized.

This includes paying close attention to budgets (especially for video production), double-checking details, and following up with stakeholders to clarify what needs to be done.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Client Portfolio & Relationship Management
  • Act as a secondary and potentially primary client contact, understanding client objectives, project goals, and overall marketing strategies.
  • Proactively suggest improvements, identify new opportunities for account growth, and ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct or support regular business reviews to align on strategy, budgets, and project progress.
  1. Strategic Planning & Development
  • Collaborate closely with the Account Director (your primary point of leadership and mentorship) and internal teams to develop and refine account strategies.
  • Align client expectations with strategic objectives, ensuring both the client’s and agency’s goals are met.
  1. Project Planning, Budgeting & Execution
  • Define project scope, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with the Account Servicing and Creative teams.
  • Manage budgets carefully (including video production budgets) to ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
  • Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and project workflow—chasing approvals and clarifications where needed to keep projects on track.
  1. Team Coordination & Task Management
  • Collaborate closely with Producers, Content Directors, Creative Leads, and the Traffic Manager to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Assign tasks based on skill sets and availability, and proactively step in to help with administrative or production-related tasks as needed.
  1. Quality Assurance & Detail Orientation
  • Double-check deliverables for accuracy, brand consistency, and alignment with client requirements.
  • Implement quality control measures and ensure all content meets the highest standards before final submission.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation (status reports, budgets, schedules), keeping internal and external stakeholders aligned.
  1. Reporting & Stakeholder Management
  • Track and report project progress, budget utilization, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide regular status updates, ensuring transparency with clients and internal teams.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services and communicate them to leadership for potential business growth.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in account management, project management, or similar client-facing roles—preferably in a content marketing, video production, or creative agency environment.
  • Highly proactive, with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems before they escalate.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring all tasks and budgets are effectively managed.
  • Familiarity with video production processes and associated budgeting.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to manage multiple stakeholders and keep everyone aligned.
  • Strategic mindset for account growth and tactical execution to manage day-to-day deliverables.
  • Degree or Diploma in communications, media, advertising, marketing, or a related field preferred but not mandatory.
