Human Resources Executive (HR Business Partnering) - Toa Payoh

Roles & Responsibilities
To perform a full spectrum of HR functions and provide effective HR business partnering support to the business units in all HR matters:
- Strategic HR Business Partnering
- Manage end-to-end employee life cycle – from talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, employee relations matters, performance management to off-boarding
- Serve as the primary HR contact for designated business units or departments.
- Build strong relationships with school leaders and stakeholders to understand their needs and proactively address HR-related challenges.
- Provide expert and timely advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislative changes.
- Talent Acquisition and Management
- Support business units in recruitment efforts to meet organizational needs
- Provide expert and timely advice to business units on HR policies and procedures
- Foster strong employee communication and engagement with the stakeholders
- Evaluate recruitment channels, explore new channels and optimize recruitment processes
- Manage employee grievances and complaints effectively, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to organizational policies and labor laws.
- Conduct investigations, where necessary, and recommend appropriate actions to address misconduct or performance issues, grievances
- Assist in the formulation, review, and update of HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the planning and execution of employer branding initiatives aimed at building the organisation’s reputation as an employer of choice.
- Initiate and execute projects for process improvement and/or system enhancements
- Handle ad-hoc duties/ projects as assigned
- Degree/ Diploma in Business & Human Resource related studies
- Minimum 1-3 years of HR generalist experience (fresh graduates are welcome to apply for Executive position)
- Meticulous and organised team player who is able to multi-task in a dynamic working environment
- Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Good knowledge of Employment Acts and HR practices
- Knowledge of Times Software will be an added advantage
- Proficient in Proficiency in Microsoft Suites (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Relevant job experience in International School (K12) or in Education field would be an added advantage.
