Civil Engineer (Construction) - Toa Payoh

The Opportunity:

Now, the company is seeking a self-motivated technical expert to take the lead in pioneering its presence in the Singapore region.

Work Location at CBD

Working timing: Monday - Friday (9am - 6pm)

The Job:

• Trained to be the overall in-charged in overseeing the project from tendering stage until project execution.
• Working closely with architects, consultants, and subcontractors to integrate design solutions.
• Review and approve design documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Manage design risks and identify value engineering opportunities.
• Act as the key liaison between clients, design teams, and construction teams.
• Ensure clear communication between all stakeholders to resolve design-related challenges.
• Conduct regular design coordination meetings and provide updates to senior management.
• Ensure designs adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability requirements.
• Work closely with planning authorities and regulatory bodies to secure necessary approvals.
• Provide technical support during the construction phase, addressing design-related queries.
• Monitor site progress to ensure design intent is maintained.
• Manage design modifications and assess their impact on project delivery.

The Talent:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field from PEB / BCA recognized instituition is a MUST
• 5 years of experience in design management within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore building regulations, codes, and construction methodologies.
• Familiar with project tendering process will be a plus.
• Open-minded individual who has positive learning attitude. Willingness to learn port, terminal and jetty construction. Technical design review will be trained.
