Job Title: Breakfast & Lunch Chef

Working Hours: 5:30 AM - 2:30PM

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Breakfast & Lunch Chef to join our team. The chef will be responsible for preparing traditional breakfast items such as economy bee hoon, fried chicken, and a variety of lunch dishes, including mixed rice with assorted dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrive at the restaurant by 5:30 AM to begin food preparation.
  • Prepare and cook economy bee hun, fried chicken, and other breakfast items efficiently.
  • Cook a variety of dishes for mixed rice with assorted dishes ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in the kitchen.
  • Manage ingredient preparation, portioning, and storage.
  • Work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak hours.
  • Keep kitchen equipment clean and well-maintained.
  • Coordinate with kitchen assistants and ensure smooth workflow.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in cooking breakfast and mixed rice dishes in a restaurant or food stall.
  • Familiarity with local flavors and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently under time constraints.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Punctual and responsible, with a passion for cooking.
