Responsibilities include:
- Collate and review operational risk data e.g. Risk and Control Self-Assessment, Incident Reporting.
- Administer the Governance, Risk and Compliance (“GRC”) system.
- Prepare risk reports for board and management consumption.
- Draft corporate/risk policies.
- Provide guidance to Business Units on adequacy of design and effectiveness of key risks and controls.
- Coordinate with the Business Units on the periodic reviews and assessments on the outsourced vendors.
- Provide guidance to Business Units on the implementation of the outsourcing framework and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Review due diligence and risk assessment questionnaires submitted by Business Units and update the outsourcing central register.
- Prepare regular reports on outsourcing for internal stakeholders and regulator.
- Assist in rolling out the Organisation Business Continuity Management (BCM) Programme which covers:
- Annual Threat and Vulnerabilities Risk Assessment
- Review of Business Impact Analysis and Business Continuity Plans and related documents.
- Coordinate and facilitate business continuity test and exercises
- Awareness Trainings
- Provide guidance to Business Units on BCM related matters.
- Assist the risk governance & operational risk team in other ad hoc projects, as and when needed.
- Degree in Commerce (e.g. Accountancy, Business Administration or Finance)
- Certificates from Risk Management Institute / Singapore College of Insurance or experience in operational risk management would be an advantage
- Experience in insurance/banking sector would be preferable
- Minimum 3 years of working experience
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Detail-oriented and meticulous
- Proactive, able to work independently and demonstrate ownership
- Ability to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills (verbal and written), organisation and interpersonal skills
