Are you an experienced Robotics & Automation engineer looking for a career transition?
Our client is a local education institute is looking for an experienced Robotics & Automation engineer to join a dynamic academic environment.
In this role, you will move beyond hands-on technical work and leverage your extensive industry expertise to collaborate with faculty, students, and industry partners. Your focus will be on driving innovation, mentoring, and supporting the development of robotics and automation within the academic and industry landscapes.
Key Responsibilities- Lab & Module Development: Design and deliver laboratory sessions and practical learning modules for students.
- Mentorship & Guidance: Support and mentor students in Capstone Projects and Integrated Work Study Programme
- Industry Collaboration: Lead and manage innovation projects with industry partners to align academic work with real-world applications.
- Lab Management: Oversee and maintain labs and equipment, ensuring they support both academic programs and applied research.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure safety protocols are followed in lab environments to maintain a safe and productive workspace.
- Qualification: A good degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive Industry Experience: Over 10 years deep technical expertise in Robotics, Automation, Autonomous Systems
- Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience in electronics/ electrical, programming (ROS/ROS2, Python, C/C++), and experience with robotics, AI, ML, and IoT.
