Application Support Engineer
to support front office applications, data, and their integration with middle and back-office systems.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with the business including Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Analysts to understand business requirements, resolve issues, and identify improvement opportunities. You should be a strong self-starter, able to work as part of the global application support team to ensure a smooth production environment.
You will be responsible for: Becoming the go-to person to enhance, support, and maintain the firm’s front, middle, and back office systems.
Supporting trading and research platforms on different OS environments (either Windows or Linux).Working closely with external vendors to resolve issues and deliver enhancements.
Requirements: Minimum of 3+ years experience supporting development environments with strong troubleshooting capabilities.
Good understanding of Macro products eg IRS, FX Options, Bonds, Repos, OTC Equity Options, FX Forwards, and Exotics.Ability to prioritize and juggle between tasks in a fast-paced team, with great analytical skills and attention to detail to understand needs from the business.
