Basic Purpose/Accountabilities:

Reporting to the Supervisor, Singapore Clean & Renewables Scheduling, the Operations Assistant (Contract) position will be responsible for providing operations administrative support to the Renewables Scheduling team for the Asia Pacific region.

The contract period is for an initial period of 1 year, subject to extension as required by the business.

Primary Responsibilities:

Operations support: -

o Execute non-bulk shipments delivery

o Maintain accurate inventory records

o Assist schedulers with e-documentation

o Support operational internal audit for import/export compliance document

o Endorse and arrange for dispatch of cargo documents

o Support scheduling group on retention record activities

o Consolidate documents for Renewables shipments, coordinate amendments if necessary

SAP system responsibilities: -

o Verify secondary costs invoices against vendor agreements

o Record and execute SAP entries for approved secondary expenses invoice (inspection fees, tankage related charges, commission fees etc)

o Handle nomination and ticketing activities in accordance to Operation activities and month end closing

o Assist in ad-hoc testing for system upgrades

Basic / Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum Diploma in Maritime/ Logistics/ Computer Science/ Business Administration/ Operational Audit
  • Self-motivated individual with an eye for details and accuracy
  • Strong SAP & MS Office knowledge and good communication skills
  • Previous SAP experience will be an added advantage
  • Demonstrates ability to collaborate effectively with the front office to resolve problems

Preferred Skills:

  • Minimum one year of administrative support experience in scheduling or shipping functions
