Senior Accountant (Property Developer) - Bukit Merah

Our client is a Property Developer (MNC) committed to sustainability and innovation. Right now, they are looking for a Senior Accountant Senior Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring accurate financial management in line with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and tax filings.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Manage project cost accounting and financial controls for property development projects.
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
• Improve internal financial processes and controls for efficiency and accuracy.
• Support senior management with financial insights and strategic planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• Minimum 5-7 years of accounting experience, preferably in the property development or real estate industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax regulations, and project accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
