About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth within the Singapore and Southeast Asia (SEA) markets. This role will focus on acquiring new advertisers, leveraging strong agency relationships, and demonstrating expertise in performance marketing campaign strategies, such as CPS, Ad Sales, KOL, and Mobile.

The ideal candidate will be a proven hunter with a deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape and a passion for delivering exceptional results for clients. This role reports to the MD, SEA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and secure new brand and advertiser clients across various verticals within the Singapore and SEA region. Actively network, attend industry events, and leverage existing agency relationships.
  • Agency Relationship Management: Cultivate and expand relationships with key advertising agencies to generate qualified leads and partnership opportunities. Develop and execute joint business plans with strategic agencies.
  • Performance Marketing Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of performance marketing strategies and articulate value propositions to potential clients. Develop tailored campaign proposals for CPS, Ad Sales, KOL, and Mobile, and deliver compelling pitch presentations.
  • Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing. Maintain accurate sales forecasts and track progress against targets.
  • Gross Profit Delivery: Focus on acquiring enterprise clients that contribute to the company's overall gross profit targets. Structure deals and pricing models to maximize profitability while delivering value to clients.
  • Client Onboarding & Handover: Ensure a smooth transition of new clients to the account management team. Provide clear and comprehensive briefs and documentation to facilitate successful campaign execution.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market s in the Singapore and SEA region. Identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Regularly report on sales performance, pipeline development, and market trends. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Development or Sales within the Digital Marketing Industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully acquiring new clients and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong relationships with marketing agencies in Singapore and SEA markets.
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing principles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with HubSpot, GTM, Mobile Tracking Platforms, GA, and DV360 is a plus.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to professional growth and organizational success, with a consistent tenure of at least three years with each previous employer.
