With over a century of retail heritage and a global workforce of nearly 8,000 employees, our client is a leading global travel retailer known for offering immersive shopping experiences worldwide. We are currently partnering with them to hire a Logistics Manager based in Singapore.
Responsibilities- Lead the day-to-day logistics operations and take strategic initiatives to optimize warehouse processes, reduce costs, and improve quality across the region while collaborating with stakeholders to implement warehouse management systems.
- Lead the ASN Team and oversee the flow of incoming shipments to a warehouse, primarily focusing on managing and verifying Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs) to ensure accurate and timely receipt of goods.
- Lead the transport & freight management, collaborate with freight forwarders, customs, retail and customers to ensure all product categories meet destination regulations across the region.
- Network optimization through overseeing the design, development and optimization of APAC network, route to market activities and drive improvements to optimize, cost, speed and reliability.
- Develop APAC Logistics governance, framework, organization and competencies, customer-centric culture, and KPIs at regional and country level. Ensuring operational excellence process by develop and implement practices, SOPs, performance metrics that can drive continuous improvement and productivity.
- Be responsible and accountable for the Logistics Profit and Loss and participate in tender projects.
- Vendor management to drive the requirements and performance from their 3PLs to deliver our business and drive long and short-term plans for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate logistics strategy into actionable plans.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of warehouse processes, goods flow and compliance matters relating to luxury products and fair understanding of Customs’ requirements as well as bonded warehouse structure.
- Good command of English, and ideally, a proficiency in an additional language to engage with stakeholders in a multi-cultural work environment.
- Working knowledge of using MS Office, SAP and other systems relating to logistics and warehouse management.
- A can-do attitude and clear focus on achieving goals within a fast paced and dynamic work environment.
- Proven relevant experience in Logistics management with a strong ability to mentor Team Members.
