Business Analyst

In this role, you will be reporting to the Head of IT Business Engagement to support IT projects and to address business needs. Collaborating closely with various stakeholders such as business users, IT teams and external vendors, you will be responsible for quality requirement gathering, documentation, testing and support IT solutions delivered.

We are looking for an excellent communicator, meticulous and analytical professional with experience in business analysis role, application maintenance and project management through IT solution implementation to join our growing team in Singapore office!

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders on business and non-functional requirements to ensure they are well gathered and documented, translate to specifications.
• Perform analysis (data, business process mapping, system flows), business case and functional documentation, and facilitate workshops on requirement discussions/gathering.
• Perform technical reviews, test scenario creation and reviews, testing and support deployment for IT projects
• Lead discussion with APAC IT teams, Head Office teams and/or vendors to identify appropriate IT solutions, establish scope and timeline, and monitor the deliverables are achieved on time and with quality
• Proactive communications and status update to business stakeholders, and IT management.
• Ensure effective solution/application support to business users and issue resolution within agreed service level by working with the respective IT/vendor teams. Provide link between end users and development team regarding software functionality.
• Support Project Team to manage vendors to deliver application evolutions, maintenance and support tasks.

Minimum Requirements:

• Need to have: Hands on experience in requirements gathering, documenting business needs, and creating functional specifications.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Business Analyst only.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computing / Information Systems or related field
• Excellent communications skills both written and spoken, and presentation skills
• Good knowledge of software development life cycle and understanding of the building blocks of the information system: application layers, infrastructure and security.
• Knowledge/experience in Low-code technology, Dashboarding tool (Qliksense etc), data analytics techniques
• Knowledge/experience in the Shipping/logistics industry will be advantageous
