Junior Investment Research Analyst - Toa Payoh

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on potential investment opportunities, including equities, fixed income, and alternative assets.
• Perform financial modeling, valuation analysis, and scenario planning for investments.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on current and prospective investments, including valuation assessments and performance analysis.
• Assist in developing and maintaining databases for tracking investments and market trends, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Monitor financial markets, industry news, and global economic developments to identify investment risks and opportunities.
• Provide support for investment activities, focusing on financial products such as public equities and private equities.
• Stay informed about financial markets and trends, with a strong understanding of private and public market dynamics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance analytical insights, improve reporting capabilities, and support decision-making processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficiency in tools/software such as Excel, SQL, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg Terminal; familiarity with Tableau or other data visualization tools is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• CFA certification or candidacy is a strong advantage.

Relevant experience, such as internships or coursework in investment research, is a plus.
