Finance & HR Manager (Retail) - Geylang

Adecco is partnering with a growing retail company to hire a detail-oriented, independent, and communicative Finance & HR Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of finance and HR operations, and seamless collaboration with the overseas headquarters.

Accounting Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full set of accounts.
  • Prepare month-end closing schedules and related financial reports.
  • Provide comprehensive accounting support to HQ for Singapore retail and wholesale operations
  • Oversee routine accounting transactions and prepare payment vouchers.
  • Handle GST submissions.
  • Perform bookkeeping duties, data entry, and report preparation.
  • Assist budget preparation and consolidations.
  • Assist with general accounting compliance duties, including annual tax filing, annual audits, etc.
  • Undertake ad hoc assignments as required, such as stock take and inventory management.

HR & Administration Responsibilities:

  • Administer payroll and commission calculations, CPF contributions, submissions to government, IR8A filings, staff claims reimbursement, etc.
  • Maintain and update staff attendance, leave and OT records.
  • Prepare employment contracts, internal correspondence and filing, coordinate staff onboarding and offboarding logistics.
  • Managing staff performance and annual performance review.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system.
  • Support ad hoc HR administrative projects, such as employee benefits administration, team-building events, and annual dinner arrangements.
The Talent Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with Chartered Accountant, ACCA, or CPA qualification.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in both Finance and HR functions.
  • Experience in the retail industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting and HR software; experience with Kingdee or HR Infotech is an advantage.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with strong numerical accuracy and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese; fluency in Mandarin as required to deal with mandarin speaking stakeholders
  • Competent in MS Word, Excel, and Chinese word processing.
  • Candidates with less experience can be considered as Assistant Manager.
