Role Description:
The Operations Manager for Luna's is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the shop's operations. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.The Operations Manager will lead a team of staff members, manage vendor relationships, optimize financial performance, and uphold the shop's reputation as a premier destination for food and beverage offerings.
Specific Responsibilities:
- - Leadership & Team Management: This module develops leadership skills, focusing on team management, creating a positive work environment, and aligning staff with café goals. Trainee will learn motivation, feedback, conflict resolution, communication, and building high-performing teams through collaboration and retention strategies.
- Operational Management: This module covers daily operations oversight, process streamlining, and workflow efficiency.
- Customer Service Excellence: This module focuses on enhancing customer experience, managing feedback, and improving service standards.
- Food Safety & Hygiene: This module ensures compliance with food safety laws and best practices, covering hygiene monitoring, safe storage procedures, and contamination prevention.
- Financial Planning & Budget Control: This module covers budgeting, expense control, and financial performance analysis for improved profitability.
- Inventory & Supplier Management: This module teaches inventory management, including turnover rates, reorder points, waste reduction, and supplier relationship management, encompassing negotiation and order optimization.
- Staff Training & Development: This module focuses on developing and delivering staff training programs, evaluating performance, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- POS System & Tech Management: This module covers POS system proficiency, troubleshooting, and integration with other café systems to enhance efficiency.
- Quality Control & Product Development: This module focuses on maintaining consistent product quality through quality control procedures and exploring new product ideas.g skills, conducting performance reviews and setting goals for ongoing development and growth.
