Responsible for creating documents and drawings for projects. Develop detailed drawings and conduct inspection for quality assurance. Review and analyze specifications and technical drawings and propose project ideas. In addition to these tasks, to create estimates for materials, revise plans, and make modifications based on project needs and company resources.

Should possess strong interpersonal skills to communicate project progress to customers and to site operations. Need to be familiar with marine & offshore requirements. Work outdoors or in shipyard when developing and measuring projects in progress.

Also work in office to create drawings using AutoCad.

Must pay strong attention to detail and have advanced technical knowledge. Need to be creative individual to propose innovative solutions to design problems. Must be able to manage other draftsmen and site operations, and must also be able to work effectively on their own with minimal supervision.

Creative certifications and previous experience in a similar position are a plus. Need to be proficient with Autocad and Excel spreadsheet applications.

Must have undergone Shipyard Supervisors Safety Course certification and worked in Shipyard environment for at least 8 years.

Normal working hours are from Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm and Saturday, 8am - 12pm. As per project requirements, there might be a regular need to exceed the normal working hours (Saturday afternoon or Sunday).
