Senior Facilities Engineer / Assistant Facilities Manager - Toa Payoh
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Facilities Engineer or Assistant Facilities Manager to join our Facilities Management team in the Central Region. This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of our facilities, ensuring the optimal performance and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
What you'll be doing- Plan, execute and supervise all M&E related facilities maintenance work service. Lead a team of technical officers / executives and technicians for the facilities management activities.
- Investigate, analyse and determine any root cause and report any M&E breakdown and fault effectively.
- Together with Technical Executives to manage M&E works and services for effective and efficient M&E facilities performance.
- Coordinate and supervise the M&E installation and maintenance work. Planning and scheduling of preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance works.
- Manage and coordinate the maintenance and repair of all facilities and building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Oversee the team of technicians and Technical Executives for smooth operations and good delivery of maintenance and repair services
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on M&E systems and building equipment to achieve efficiency of the facilities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare Quotations for submission.
- Prepare monthly reports of all facilities-related activities and attend meetings.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or any relevant Facilities Maintenance disciplines / fields .
- Experience in managing government building and /or conservation buildings will be welcome.
- Minimum 6 -7 years of Singapore experience in facilities management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, mechanical / electrical including Acmv , plumbing, electrical, fire protection for building premises.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and maintenance manuals
- Effective problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Experience with energy management and sustainability initiatives is preferred
