Housekeeping Public Area Team Leader - Toa Payoh

The Housekeeping Public Area Team Leader supervises and inspects cleaning of all public spaces, service areas, guest corridors, and all back of the house areas and Public Areas as assigned. He/she is also responsible for planning coordination and administration of public area operations.
Our Expectations:
- Assist in overseeing all external contractors who perform public area cleaning duties in the hotel.
- Ensure continuous and effective pest control process is in place to rid the hotel of all vermin. Continually monitor and address any pest situations in the hotel immediately.
- Ensure the completion of all work orders pertaining to public area cleanliness, hygiene and upkeep.
- Assist in overseeing all maintenance of plants, gardening and landscaping operations of the hotel, including floral arrangements.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of an environmentally friendly approach to all aspects of the Housekeeping Department.
- Regularly inspect public areas and check the different stations within public areas while closely monitoring all events.
- Check Public Area Ambassador's trolleys, pantries and storage areas regularly to ensure its properly arranged and maintained.
- Ensure the protection and maintenance for all equipment used by the Team and ensure the completion of all work orders pertaining to Housekeeping.
- Ensure proper record keeping of all documentation pertaining to public area upkeep and maintenance.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently. If you have at least 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience either in public area or housekeeping management with a luxury brand and have a keen eye for detail, write in to have a chat with us!
