Warehouse assistant

2 Shifts (Morning and Afternoon Shifts on Rotation)

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Release cargo to drivers for delivery and transfer to terminal.
• Receive cargo from drivers/vendor, checking cargo markings for accuracy.
• Inspect and paste label cargo appropriately.
• Segregate and sort shipments according to respective destinations.
• Arrange warehouse storage locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the warehouse.
• Perform stock checks and inventory counts as needed.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or trolleys (if certified).
• Follow safety guidelines and comply with warehouse regulations.
• Physically fit to handle warehouse tasks, including lifting and moving cargo.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
• Need to work overtime .
