JOB SUMMARY

Staff nurse plays a central role in providing nursing care to residents in nursing home. He/She will support the Nurse Managers & Director (Nursing) in daily operations of the Ward, be responsible for providing nursing care and management to residents.

Job Responsibilities

Supervising and monitoring the care, welfare and well-being of residents
Handling the daily nursing operations of the ward and implementing nursing requirements and regulations
Providing feedback and suggestions on the needs of the residents and for service improvement
Planning and implementing new services, programmes and activities
Recording, safe-keeping and administration of medication and subcutaneous injections
Assisting doctors during ward rounds and following-up on recommended changes

Job Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Nursing
Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
Possess a valid Practicing Certificate from Singapore Nursing Board
Candidates with clinical experience in paediatrics ward are welcomed to apply
Able to work with minimal supervision
Able to motivate, lead and supervise junior staff
Proactive and supportive in carrying out new initiatives
