Senior Engineer, Painting-Benoi - Bukit Batok

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, organize and plan activities to ensure smooth execution of projects in the Department.
• Ensure that manpower is effectively deployed to deliver the products timely.
• Ensure that manpower is adequately trained to perform jobs and to meet future challenges.
• Liaise with owners and paint representative and surveyor on complying with paint specification and Insulation requirements.
• Evaluate and assess the work performance of staff.
• Resolve any technical problems or issues faced at the work site.
• Study and evaluate the work sequences and methods of the Department and explore new ideas to improve quality and productively.
• Ensure that Safety, Health and Environmental operating procedures are followed and counsel staff about compliance.
• Ensure that jobs outsourced to sub-contractors are effectively supervised and the products are delivered timely and in accordance to the required specifications and quality.
• Any other associate tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering or any other Technical fields
• Good Level of Proficiency in MS Excel and Powerpoint to prepare reports and powerpoint presentations
• Strong technical knowledge in Painting.
• PSPC knowledge with Qualification in NACE Level II or FROSIO Level III preferred.

• Location: Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)
• 5 days work week
• Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm
