About the role

As a Customer Service Officer at Optibelt Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer support and managing the import/export processes for our multinational clients. Based in the Bedok East Region, this full-time position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading global manufacturer.

What you'll be doing
  • Handling customer inquiries and requests in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Liaise with customers on incoming queries, ensuring timely and effective execution of customer orders, handling stock allocation, processing of delivery orders and invoices.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to customer orders and shipments
  • Handle claims received from customer.
  • Coordinating import and export shipments, ensuring smooth customs clearance.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to resolve customer issues and meet their needs
  • Providing updates and status reports to customers throughout the order fulfilment process
  • Identifying opportunities to improve customer service and operational efficiency
What we're looking for
  • Proven experience in a customer service or logistics role, preferably in the import/export or customs industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle customer queries and resolve issues
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and systems for order processing and documentation
  • Thorough understanding of import/export regulations and customs clearance procedures
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently to meet deadlines and targets
