What you'll be doing?- Facility Management: Plan and execute tasks related to facilities, upgrading and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Vendor Relations: Interface with outside vendors for specialized repairs or new components, reviewing quotes and making cost-effective recommendations.
- Training and Development: Conduct basic maintenance training on machinery and equipment for end users, enhancing team capabilities.
- Troubleshooting: Apply your expertise to diagnose and resolve machinery malfunctions efficiently.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform and oversee preventive maintenance on production machinery, maintaining detailed records of repairs and completed work.
- Strategic Planning: Identify critical spares for preventive maintenance and probable causes of potential machinery failures to minimize downtime.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to in-house safety rules and procedures by all vendors and contractors.
- Cost Management: Drive quarterly cost-saving projects and work within allocated budgets to improve overall equipment efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Lead and coach maintenance engineers on predictive maintenance approaches, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Industry Experience: 3-5 years of experience in maintenance and repair works within a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and able to leverage machine downtime data for predictive maintenance.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for effective interaction with internal employees and external vendors.
- Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of CNC machines and equipment, with a strong safety mindset.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address complex maintenance issues.
- Flexibility: Willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.
- Educational Background: Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
