Department: Management AccountingReport to: Senior Account Executive
Functional Relationships with: All related departments in Murata
POSITION PROFILE:
Based in: SingaporeJob site: Yishun
The successful candidate will: Account Executive is responsible for all areas relating to financial closing and reporting. This position will be responsible for ensuring that all records comply with accounting principles, implementing practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.He/she is to work closely with all related parties to ensure that the accounting policies are being complied with, in all aspects of operation.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Preparing monthly management accounts and other financial reports such as annual budgets.
- Presenting reports to senior management to aid with business decision making.
- Compiling strategies that will reduce business costs.
- Advising on the financial implications of business decisions.
- Developing and overseeing financial systems and procedures and identifying opportunities to improve.
- Controlling income and expenditure within the business and ensuring that expenditure is in line with budgets.
- Communicating with all levels within the organization and being able to present financial information to non-finance members of staff.
Ability / Competency Required:
- Degree in Accountancy
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment
- Able to work well as a team player while being independent and pro-active
- Critical & logical thinking and analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude in a challenging work environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Vlookup, Pivot Table etc)
