Key Responsibilities:

  • ensurering timely reconciliation of payments and statements.
  • Handle queries from brokers regarding invoices, payment discrepancies, and account status.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding debts to ensure payments are received within agreed credit terms.
  • Investigate and resolve overdue accounts by working with brokers and internal teams.
  • Prepare regular reports on outstanding payments, aged debt, and broker account performance.
  • Analyze payment trends and identify potential risks related to credit control.
  • Ensure all activities comply with company policies and financial regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions, correspondence, and reconciliations.
  • Work closely with finance, sales, and underwriting teams to address issues related to broker accounts.
  • Provide input on improving credit control processes and policies.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in credit control, account management, or a related role, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent MS Excel skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to financial transactions.
  • Experience in managing multiple accounts and high-volume transactions.
