Responsibilities We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Operational Risk for the Bank's Operations Division. This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing the Bank's operational risk framework, ensuring the identification, assessment, and mitigation of operational risks across the organization's processes, systems, and people.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the Bank's operational risk strategy, ensuring the continuity of operations, and safeguarding the Bank's assets and reputation. As the Head of Operational Risk, you will be entrusted with overseeing the Bank's operational risk management program, providing thought leadership on risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring that risk management is integrated across all operational functions.
You will work closely with senior executives and other business leaders to develop risk policies and practices that align with the Bank's strategic objectives and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that operational risk exposures are identified, assessed, and effectively managed, while simultaneously supporting the Bank's business growth and operational efficiency.
You will lead a high-performing team of risk professionals, provide guidance on risk assessments, and ensure that operational risk management practices are embedded across the Bank's operations. Your role will involve liaising with key stakeholders across the Bank, including risk committees, business units, compliance, and internal audit teams, to ensure the development and implementation of effective risk mitigation plans.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that the Bank's operational risk management processes are consistently reviewed, tested, and refined to address evolving risks, such as those related to regulatory changes, technological advancements, and operational resilience.
Requirements You will have substantial experience in operational risk management within a major banking environment, with a proven ability to navigate the complexities of global banking operations. Your expertise will include a deep understanding of operational risk management frameworks, business continuity planning, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment methodologies.
