Job Description

Set up and operate wind/water tunnel equipment
Conduct wind tunnel/water experiments
Conduct computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations
Analyze experimental and simulation data and summarize key findings and observations
Collaborate with other team members to design experiments, develop simulation methodologies, data collection and analysis
Assist in the preparation of research proposals and technical reports
Lead in writing of journal and conference publications
Assist in other relevant activities in the research project such as supervision of undergraduate students and management of project administration

Job Requirements

A PhD in Atmospheric Science/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering or equivalent
Proficiency in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations software
Strong passion in research and can conduct research independently
Fluent in English and able to present research to both researchers and the general public
Strong publication record
Experience in conducting wind/water tunnel experiments is a plus
Experience in programming and AI/machine learning is a plus
