Zhen Xing Building Construction is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of the company’s building projects, facilities, equipment, and machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing maintenance schedules, leading a team of maintenance engineers and technicians, ensuring safety and compliance, and optimizing resource utilization to support our ongoing construction and upgrading projects.
As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for implementing effective maintenance programs, managing maintenance workers, tracking budgets, responding to emergencies, and ensuring that all maintenance operations are aligned with safety and quality standards.
Specific Responsibilities:
Individual to be involved in:
- Create and implement maintenance programs: Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs for the company's buildings, grounds, and vehicles.
- Schedule maintenance tasks: Plan and schedule routine maintenance checks and repairs.
- Respond to emergencies: Address maintenance issues as they arise.
- Manage maintenance workers: Supervise and lead a team of maintenance engineers and technicians.
- Manage finances: Track expenses and budget maintenance projects.
- Coordinate with other departments: Work with other departments to optimize the company's use of resources.
- Ensuring Safety and Compliance.
- Monitoring equipment: Monitor the efficiency and lifespan of equipment.
- Procurement: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for equipment procurement.
Technical Skills and Competencies:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the construction or building industry.
- Strong understanding of building construction processes, maintenance operations, and safety regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in high-pressure situations.
- Familiarity with construction machinery, tools, and temporary facilities commonly used in the industry.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards for building construction and equipment maintenance.
- Previous experience in a general contracting environment, particularly in large-scale construction and upgrading works.
