Responsibilities

Develop and optimize chemical processes to improve efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness, utilizing simulation tools and leading energy reduction initiatives.
Oversee Management of Change (MOC) systems, conducting risk assessments and hazard reviews while collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless implementation.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) by maintaining processes, participating in audits, and driving continuous improvement.
Plan and manage engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget while coordinating with teams and vendors and preparing detailed documentation.
Promote safety by ensuring compliance with regulations, leading Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), and fostering a safety-first culture.
Provide mentorship to junior engineers, lead training programs, and use data analysis to identify improvements and generate actionable report

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or Master's degree

Experience: 8–10+ years in chemical manufacturing or process engineering with Proven ability to manage large-scale engineering projects and implement process changes.

Technical Skills: Knowledge of MOC systems and ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001). Proficient in process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS), Strong grasp of chemical plant operations, unit processes, and thermodynamics, Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma (preferred) and Experience in project management; SCEM or Water Efficiency Manager certification (preferred).

Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and Proven leadership and team-building capabilities.
