As a Finance Manager (Construction), you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Manage the full set of accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Prepare financial and management reports in a timely manner.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and operational procedures.
• Oversee tax compliance and coordinate tax return submissions with external consultants when necessary.
• Lead and manage the Finance Team to ensure efficient financial operations.
• Develop budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis to support strategic planning.
• Analyze financial data, including financial statements, cash flow, and project performance.
• Collaborate with top management and department heads to align financial strategies with business objectives.
• Support senior management with ad hoc tasks, particularly for the Malaysia startup operations.

Requirements:

• Accounting/Finance degree or equivalent professional qualifications.
• At least 8 years of working experience in accounting/finance.
• Working experience from relevant Industry will be an advantage.
• Comprehensive knowledge of SFRS accounting standards, project accounting, and expertise in financial and management reporting.
• Preferably well-versed in taxation.
• Practical experience in overseeing financial operations and ERP system processes.
