Business Development Executive (F&B Industry)

JOB SUMMARY

The Business Development Executive reports to the Business Development Manager and is responsible for driving revenue growth by expanding restaurant and catering sales, as well as deveoping new business opportunities through various F&B channels.

This role involves identifying potential clients, maintaining strong customer relationships, and implementing strategic sales initiatives to enhance brand presence and profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Business Development
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase catering sales, and distribution through food courts, kopitiams, and other F&B outlets
  • Proactively reach out to corporate clients, event organizers, food court operators, and potential catering partners
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing custoers to drive repeat business
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop sales strategies and promotional campaigns
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and potential distribution channels
  • Participate in networking events and industry trade shows to enhance business opportunities
F&B Channel Expansion
  • Identify opportunities to distribute our food products through food courts, kopitiams, hawker centres, corporate cafeterias, hotels and caterers
  • Establish partnerships with stall owners, food vendors, and franchise opportunities
  • Work with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations for external vendors
  • Monitor sales performance across different channels and optimize strategies accordingly
Customer Relationship Management
  • Maintain a database of leads and clients, ensuring follow-ups and excellent customer service
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner
  • Gather customer feedback to improve service quality and offerings
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role in the F&B industry
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, catering, and F&B distribution through food courts, kopitiams, and hawker centres
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proactive and target-driven with a passion for sales and relationship management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, as required
