Investment Operations Specialist (Buy-Side) - Toa Payoh

Our Client is a Japanese Fund Management Organization who was voted and held on to their title of Most Consistent Asia-based Fund and Credence Global with Best Asia-based CTA/Managed Futures Fund – both for the third consecutive year since 2016

• Responsible to Private Equity daily operations
• Review term sheets, contracts, and legal agreements (LPA, Subscription Agreements, Side Letters) - primarily in Japanese.
• Liaise with fund administrators, legal teams, and counterparties to ensure compliance and proper documentation.
• Manage capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations for PE investments.
• Monitor portfolio company performance and prepare investor reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to Japanese PE investments.
• Support the Hedge fund and long-only operations.
• Assist in NAV calculations, trade reconciliations, and fund reporting.
• Work with fund administrators, custodians, and brokers to ensure smooth trade settlements.
• Provide operational support for Japan-listed equity trades.

• Fluent in Japanese (reading, writing, and speaking) - this is essential for contract review and liaising with Japan-based stakeholders.
• At least possesses 3+ years of experience in private equity fund operations or a buy-side role.
• Strong understanding of PE term sheets, fund structures, capital activity, and compliance.
• Experience in hedge fund or long-only operations is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience with fund accounting/reporting systems is advantageous.

• Working location: CBD, Singapore
• Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm
• Follows Japan Calendar Public Holidays
