Telum Media are looking for a Privacy Operations Manager based in the Singapore who will play a critical role in ensuring Telum Media’s compliance with data privacy regulations and policies.
The Privacy Operations Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing privacy strategies, policies and procedures to safeguard sensitive information, and to maintain the highest standards of data protection.
What you will do:
- Ensure data collected in the client, media and sales databases are maintained according to local laws.
- Develop metrics to monitor privacy compliance and assist in establishing risk-related metrics.
- Lead incident response efforts related to privacy issues, including investigation, remediation and reporting.
- Audit current processes and implement required privacy procedures for compliance.
- Lead research and prepare communications in response to privacy-related events and consumer, government or media inquiries.
- Serve as the main point of contact for privacy-related inquiries from customers, partners and regulatory authorities.
- Engage with stakeholders to address privacy queries and complaints.
- Ensure that compliance monitoring, auditing and remediation are effective.
- Plan and direct privacy training programmes and communications.
- Incorporate regulatory changes into Telum’s processes.
- Ongoing preparation of internal audit reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including media, customer service, sales and client management to ensure privacy considerations and requirements are integrated into business processes and projects.
- Provide guidance to Telum’s product development team to ensure privacy-by-design principles are applied throughout the product lifecycle.
- Provide operational support to the senior management team with guidance on best practices.

- Demonstrable managerial experience in privacy management or a related field.
- A strong understanding of global privacy laws and regulations.
- Expertise in risk assessment and communication.
- A proven ability to drive process improvement and operational excellence.
