Job Summary:
The Senior Finance Manager is a finance leader responsible for financial planning, forecasting, and commercial insights for all commercial activities within the Singapore entity, with an added focus on manufacturing plant operations.
As a key business partner, you will collaborate with commercial, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to support revenue growth, pricing strategies, cost efficiencies, and operational excellence. You will also lead financial modeling, scenario planning, and data-driven insights to drive profitability and efficiency across both commercial and manufacturing operations.This role should help utilize AI-driven analytics and automation to enhance decision-making, optimize costs, and improve both commercial and manufacturing performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes for the Singapore entity, covering both commercial and manufacturing operations.
- Develop and maintain financial models to assess business performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Conduct variance analysis on revenue, costs, and operational efficiencies to drive decision-making.
- Utilise predictive analytics and AI-driven scenario modeling for revenue, costs, and profitability forecasts.
- Commercial Insights & Business Partnering:
- Partner with commercial teams to optimize pricing, promotions, and market expansion strategies.
- Develop analyses to support investment decisions in sales, marketing, and new product launches.
- Drive margin optimization initiatives, ensuring sustainable profitability.
- Manufacturing Plant Finance & Cost Optimization:
- Work closely with plant leadership team to monitor and optimize manufacturing costs, production efficiency, and inventory management.
- Oversee cost accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis to control operational expenses.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and automation in manufacturing operations.
- Partner with supply chain and operations teams to enhance working capital efficiency and reduce waste.
- Support capital expenditure (CapEx) planning and investment analysis for plant expansions, technology upgrades, and sustainability initiatives.
- AI & Technology supporting FP&A & Manufacturing Finance:
- Leverage AI-driven tools (e.g., predictive analytics, machine learning) to enhance financial forecasting and manufacturing efficiency.
- Utilise automation solutions to improve reporting, cost tracking, and financial planning.
- Utilise business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud) to visualize financial and operational data.
- Stay ahead of AI advancements and Industry 4.0 innovations to drive digital transformation in FP&A and plant finance.
- Stakeholder Management & Strategic Leadership:
- Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management, plant leadership, and regional leadership teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, supply chain, operations, and IT teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.
- Provide thought leadership in finance transformation and digital innovation in both commercial and manufacturing finance.
- Foster a data-driven culture, promoting financial discipline and operational efficiency across the organization.
Expertise & Requirements:
Financial Expertise & Technical Skills:
- 8+ years of FP&A and manufacturing experience, preferably within multinational corporation.
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, scenario analysis, and risk assessment.
- Deep expertise in P&L management, cash flow forecasting, cost accounting, and standard costing.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and financial planning tools (e.g. Anaplan, Hyperion, Adaptive Insights).
Manufacturing & Supply Chain Finance Experience:
- Understanding of manufacturing cost structures, production KPIs, and operational efficiencies.
- Experience in cost reduction initiatives, operational process improvement, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Ability to analyze raw material costs, inventory management, and supply chain impact on financial performance.
- Experience in CapEx planning, asset utilization, and plant investment analysis.
✅ Commercial Acumen:
- Strong understanding of revenue growth drivers, pricing strategies, and market dynamics.
- Ability to analyze sales performance, customer segmentation, and profitability drivers.
- Experience in supporting go-to-market strategies and new product launches.
✅ AI & Digital Finance Expertise:
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML applications in forecasting, financial planning, or manufacturing automation.
- Proficiency in data analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R) preferred.
- Familiarity with automation tools (RPA, Alteryx) and cloud-based FP&A solutions a benefit.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Lean, Agile or Six Sigma a plus.
- Project Management certification is a plus.
