As a Dog Care & Operations Trainee, you’ll start by learning the core aspects of canine care and facility operations while gaining hands-on experience. This role is designed for growth, with opportunities to take on additional responsibilities over time!
What You’ll Do (Starting Responsibilities)- Clean and sanitise rest areas and common spaces to uphold hygiene standards
- Assist with feeding, medication administration and light grooming as needed
- Supervise and engage with dogs in playgroups, and intervene when necessary to maintain harmony and ensure a safe and positive environment
- Support in walks and other outdoor activities
- Training and mentorship of new team members
- Account management
- Store management
- A genuine love for dogs
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments
- Ability to work in an active environment (you’ll be on your feet and moving!)
- Reliable, punctual and able to work weekends/public holidays as needed
- Willingness to learn
