Data Scientist - Toa Payoh

We are looking to speak to Data Scientists who are experienced in building predictive models using both systems modeling and machine learning to generate insights and automate product processes

Responsibilities:

• Collaboration: Work in cross-functional teams (designers, engineers, product managers) to generate insights and maximize product effectiveness.
• Modeling: Build predictive models using machine learning and systems modeling to automate and improve product processes.
• Model Maintenance: Enhance and maintain existing models, expanding into other business sectors.
• API Development: Develop scalable APIs and ensure production services work seamlessly with machine learning models.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Work with Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD, and manage cloud-based architectures.
• Data Management: Have a strong understanding of data structures, optimization techniques, caching, and multi-service architecture.

Required Skills:

• Data Science Experience: At least 4 years of experience in the field.
• Communication & Analytical Skills: Strong ability to communicate insights and technical details clearly.
• Machine Learning & Systems Modeling: Expertise in machine learning and/or systems modeling (including academic and/or industry experience).
• Natural Language Processing (NLP): Familiarity or experience in NLP.
• Data Access & Querying: Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL querying languages to access and source data.
• Programming Skills: Comfortable with Python, NodeJS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Cloud Experience: Knowledge of cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure, and experience with cloud analytics tools.
• ETL and Data Processing: Experience working with messy data and ETL processes.
• Model Deployment & Pipelines: Experience in deploying models and building pipelines.
