They are expanding their presence in the APAC region and are seeking a Senior Sales Manager to independently drive growth, establish strategic partnerships, and enhance their market presence in the aviation industry. This individual contributor role will focus on executing sales strategies, managing key relationships, and closing deals autonomously, with an emphasis on advancing the adoption of their innovative digital products and services.
Description- Independent Business Development: Achieve sales targets through independent prospecting, lead generation, and development of new business opportunities in the APAC region.
- Sales Leadership in APAC: Own and manage your own sales pipeline, from initial contact through to contract closure, with minimal oversight.
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify and foster relationships with key stakeholders in the aviation ecosystem, including airlines, lessors, and MROs, to build long-term partnerships and drive growth.
- Market Expansion: Independently identify new market opportunities and penetrate underdeveloped segments in the APAC region.
- Customer Engagement & Support: Provide hands-on support to customers, guiding them through the adoption of digital solutions and ensuring successful implementation.
- Negotiation & Deal Closure: Take full ownership of contract negotiations and work autonomously to close high-value deals.
- Reporting & Feedback: Regularly report on progress to senior management and provide insights into market trends, opportunities, and customer needs.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
- 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles within the aviation sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, particularly in the APAC region, with experience managing complex sales cycles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- In-depth knowledge of digital solutions in aviation, including records management, regulatory compliance, and customer success strategies.
- Willingness and ability to travel across the APAC region as required.
