Senior / Engineer, Facilities Management & Development - Toa Payoh

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the outsource facilities company to support the hospital day to day operation.

Job Description:

• Liaises with external agencies, Ministry of Health, other hospitals, foreign institutions and educational and professional bodies on administrative, operational and professional matters.
• Responsible for tender, pre & post contract and procurement administrations for preventive maintenance and facilities development related works.
• Manage and administer service contracts, equipment licenses and liaise with external contractors on service matters.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that the building is well maintained.
• Prepare and handle all administration and documentation pertaining to manpower and facilities reports.
• Manage renovation and upgrading project works.
• Supervise and co-ordinate works performed by external contractors.
• Assess equipment put up for asset disposal.
• Plan and implement programs to support ongoing quality control initiatives.
• Plan and conduct training for staff and end users on equipment and safety.
• Assist and advise users on service issues.
• Participate in work improvement projects.
• Lead a team of outsource facilities manpower to resolve facilities system or quality related issues.

Job Requirement:

• Possess a Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Facilities Management or equivalent with at least 1 years of relevant experience.
• Possess a Diploma in Engineering / Facilities Management or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge and experience in project management in a hospital or clinical setting is an added advantage.
• Results and quality oriented with good leadership capabilities and analytical skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Able to work both independently and as a part of a team.
• Self-motivated, able to work well under pressure, multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
