Assistant Manager, Supply Chain - Tampines

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Supply Chain to join our dynamic team at Yellow Ribbon Industries Pte. Ltd.'. This is a contract role based in Loyang East East Region. As the Assistant Manager, Supply Chain, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement, logistics and inventory operations for our business.

• Manage supply chain and administrative functions for unit through close liaison with operations team, contracted suppliers/vendors and key stakeholders engaged by YRI.
• Support Senior Manager, Supply Chain in ensuring the efficient management of ERP system at Food Services unit.
• Conduct market sensing to identify potential suppliers and understand emerging market trends and conditions.
• Track and gather specification from operations unit for all ration and supply tenders.
• Support procurement process and ensure tender processes are reviewed and renewed in a timely manner.
• Supports effective contract management through monitoring, evaluating and improving supplier performance.
• Supports administration matters including timely submission of documents to Finance for monthly billing, facilitate regulatory licensing and coordinate key meetings with stakeholders.
• Undertake projects as part of new requirements for Food Services unit.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Senior Manager, Supply Chain

• Bachelor in Business Administration/Supply Chain.
• Minimum relevant work experience in a supply chain or procurement role and administration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize supply chain processes
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management abilities
• Proficient in using supply chain management software and data analysis tools
• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
