Swimming Pool Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: The Swimming Pool Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of swimming pools and related facilities. This includes performing routine maintenance, inspecting equipment, and maintaining water quality to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and assess the condition of swimming pools and equipment.
• Perform regular cleaning tasks such as vacuuming pools, skimming debris, and cleaning filters.
• Test and adjust water chemistry, including pH and chlorine levels, to meet health and safety standards.
• Identify and repair leaks or issues with pool plumbing and filtration systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and lighting.
• Ensure pool area safety by checking and repairing pool edges, ladders, and diving boards.
• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and water tests.
• Order and replace pool chemicals and equipment as needed.
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations.

Qualifications:

• Experience in pool maintenance or a related field.
• Knowledge of water chemistry and pool equipment.
• Ability to perform mechanical repairs and maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Physical fitness to handle manual tasks.
