Assistant Manager – Customer Service (Japanese Speaking)

Our client, a Japanese financial company, is seeking an Assistant Manager – Customer Service (Japanese Speaking) to join their team. In this role, you will assist in planning and coordinating the operations of the customer service team and collaborate with merchants to drive transactions through merchant research and special offers.

• Translate campaign/business proposals and content into Japanese, bridging the team and Japan HQ.
• Handle customer interactions via telephone or electronic communication.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and address complaints effectively by gathering and evaluating relevant information.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in compliance with management guidelines.
• Communicate and coordinate with internal and external departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide updated and accurate information to customers.
• Conduct merchant research to support the acquisition of new merchants.
• Drive sales growth by delivering excellent customer service and supporting customer-related initiatives.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Customer Service.
• Fluency in both English and Japanese (JLPT N1 or higher), with strong listening, writing, and speaking skills essential for creating documents in Japanese and liaising with Japanese counterparts.
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
