Finance Manager - Geylang

About the role

We are seeking a talented Finance Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Finance Head based in Singapore, the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations and reporting for our company.

• Manage and oversee all aspects of financial reporting(Budgeting, etc.), including the preparation of P&L Statements, balance sheets and Cash Flow Forecast
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company policies
• Review and Control Capital Expenditure requests for new investments, Analysing and ensuring all assess are properly accounted for in details.
• Assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
• Ensure proper internal controls are in place and in accordance to Group policies.
• Identify gaps and opportunities to drive efficiencies and effectiveness in the finance operation process
• Implement best practice rules defined by HQ
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts and budgets
• Analyse financial performance against targets and provide insightful recommendations to the senior management leadership team.
• Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Collaborations with Brands on operational and finance matters to support and provide strategic decision-making.
• Manage and ensure the integrity of reporting system (BOFC, SAP, CBR etc.)
• Ensure reconciliation are done between systems
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the business, offering financial expertise and guidance

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar Finance Manager role in the same capacity.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrated ability to analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with different business teams
• High degree of initiative and problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadline
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Power BI and Excel skills. Data analytics skills such as python are desirable

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accounting certification (CPA/Chartered accountant) is preferred
