Responsibilities:
- Market Research and Analysis
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and potential clients.
- Analyze competitors and market conditions to develop effective strategies for local (Singapore) and selected international markets.
- Lead Generation and Prospecting
- Identify and target potential clients or partners through various channels (e.g., cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and social media).
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Sales and Negotiation
- Present the company’s products or services to potential clients and demonstrate their value.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals.
- Partnership Development
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships or alliances to expand the company’s reach.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful partnership execution.
- Revenue Growth
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and profitability.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, lead generation, and market trends.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimize business development strategies.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align business development efforts with company goals.
- Provide feedback from clients to improve products or services.
- Brand Representation:
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote its offerings and build a strong brand presence.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
- Continuously improve skills and knowledge to enhance business development efforts.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably in the medical, life science, or diagnostic industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of the industry and market trends.
