Labour Market Analyst / Up to $4k - Geylang
Work duration: 6 + 6 months contact (possibility of extension)
Working hours: Monday – Friday: 8.30am – 6:00pm
Salary up to $4K
Location: Central
Responsibilities:
- Monitor labour market developments and analyse labour market data and trends
- Conduct timely and relevant research on the labour market
- Initiate studies to measure emerging trends and identify wider implications of the analysis produced
- Present findings on labour market developments at internal and multi-agency forum
- Provide advisory on the data and statistical techniques, and data analysis
Requirements:
- Preferably with background in Statistics, Economics, Business or Communication studies
- At least 1 to 2 years of working experience in statistical analysis and /or economic research will be an advantage
- A keen interest in the labour market and economic developments
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of statistical programming language (like SAS) and econometric modelling will be an advantage
