Software developer - Bukit Merah

Job Description:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in software architecture design and technical decision-making.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA to deliver features end-to-end.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production and non-production issues.
• Review code written by peers and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate them into development processes where applicable.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all code and software processes.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong command of one or more programming languages
• Experience with modern frameworks
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and ORM frameworks.
• Agile/Scrum development experience.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mocha, Jest, Selenium).
• Contributions to open-source projects or personal tech portfolio.
