Data Center relocation Project Manager

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of a data center relocation project in the APAC region. This role requires managing cross-functional teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring seamless infrastructure transitions while adhering to timelines, budgets, and organizational standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for the data center relocation project.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Oversee the implementation of APAC Net/iNet and related IT infrastructure.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including IT, facilities, and application support, to ensure smooth relocation.
• Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and adjust plans as needed.
• Liaise with external vendors and contractors for procuring services and equipment.
• Manage the setup of infrastructure components, including servers, networking, and storage.
• Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders on project progress.
• Prepare project schedules, define milestones, track progress, and remove blockers.

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects, including data center relocations.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as servers, storage, switches, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with regional IT vendors and telecom providers.
• Effective communication skills for managing stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management abilities.
• Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, including data center relocation projects.
• Expertise in PMI methodology and ITIL disciplines.
• Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
