GOVT] Youth Engagement & Strategic Communications Executive
Duration: Full-Time (6 months)Salary: $3,400/month (before CPF)
Location: Toa Payoh HDB Hub
Role Overview:The Strategic Communications Executive will support the Strategic Communications team in driving key publicity and youth engagement efforts. The role involves assisting in integrated communications planning and execution for key divisions like Outward Bound Singapore (OBS), Youth Corps Singapore (YCS), as well as supporting roadshows, stakeholder engagements, and ad-hoc marketing communications initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrated Communications Support
- Assist in executing integrated communication plans to support publicity and amplification of OBS, and YCS initiatives.
- Support storytelling efforts around youth initiatives and key programmes.
- Stakeholder Liaison & Coordination
- Liaise with internal divisions and external partners to coordinate communication activities.
- Provide manpower support at SG Youth Plan roadshows and other outreach events.
- Marketing Communications & Ad-hoc Projects
- Assist with ad-hoc marketing communications projects, including event marketing and content development.
- Contribute to social and digital media efforts aligned with current trends.
Requirements:
- Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in communications or related roles.
- Strong grasp of digital media, mainstream media, and social media trends.
- Excellent writing, verbal communication, and project management skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Adaptive and proactive team player who can work across functions.
- Experience in event management or physical activations is a bonus.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8.5 hours/day (excluding 1-hour meal break)
- Friday: 8 hours/day (excluding 1-hour meal break)
